You may be experiencing one of the following problems with your Ring/Nest doorbell/camera:
- A faltering image or even no image in the app
- Crackling, distortion, or even no sound in the app
- The person at the door / camera cannot hear you well
Many of these problems are related to the quality of your Wi-Fi network.
As a first step, we recommend that you perform a speed test. Read more about this in our article about the speedtest.
Next it’s a good ideato check the strength of your Wi-Fi channel. You may have to switch to a quieter channel. You can read more about this in our article about WiFi analyzers.
If the speed and channel are fine, try uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Do the same with the device. If this still does not work, please contact us. Don't forget to give your order number and to indicate what you have already done to solve the problem.
